1. Governing law

This website, and all purchases, contracts and disputes arising from or connected with it, are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.

2. Jurisdiction

The South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to this website or your orders, subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

3. Resolving complaints

We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern quickly. Please email support@shiningstone.net with your order number and details of the issue. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

4. Alternative dispute resolution

If we cannot settle a complaint within 30 days, either party may refer it to mediation or arbitration, or to the competent courts. You may also approach the National Consumer Commission, the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, or any other body with jurisdiction. Nothing here limits those rights.

5. Payment disputes

If you have a concern about a card or digital wallet payment, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank so that we can resolve it promptly. This does not affect your rights with your card issuer.

6. Compliance

Shining Stone complies with applicable laws and with the rules of the card schemes and payment partners we use. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose.

7. Severability

If any part of our terms or policies is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
